Choose by application area and fluid volume. 40g mops are suitable for light-duty surface cleaning and wall/ceiling applications. 55g mops balance absorbency and handling for routine daily floor cleaning in ISO 7-8 areas. 65g mops provide higher fluid capacity for larger surface areas and spill-response applications. All weights are available in both sterile and non-sterile configurations.
Sterile mops are recommended for GMP Grade A/B areas (ISO 5) and aseptic processing zones. For Grade C (ISO 7) and Grade D (ISO 8) areas, non-sterile mops are typically sufficient. The decision should be based on your facility's contamination control risk assessment and environmental monitoring data, not just the room classification.
Check the attachment system: MIDPOSI disposable mop pads use a pocket-style attachment compatible with standard 40cm and 60cm flat mop frames. Confirm frame width and pocket depth before ordering. MIDPOSI sterile mop systems include batch-specific documentation: Certificate of Irradiation (gamma sterilization), lot number traceability, sterile packaging integrity information, and product specification sheets.
